Clouds and heavy rain will threaten Fairfield County in the days leading up to Christmas, but unseasonably warm temperatures will make the holiday wet and windy instead of white, according to the National Weather Service. Monday will remain mostly cloudy with a slight chance of rain in the afternoon.
